Early Foundation

Autobuild Unlock Route

A fast early-game Depths route that unlocks Autobuild before most story progression.

Easiest and fastest route

  1. Head to the Great Plateau.
  2. Drop into the East Abbey Chasm and follow the minecart tracks into the Depths.
  3. Make your way to the Great Abandoned Central Mine in Central Hyrule Depths.
  4. Talk to the Steward Construct and activate it to unlock Autobuild.
  5. Finish the short tutorial by repairing two objects with Autobuild.

Main quest route

  1. Complete one Regional Phenomena objective.
  2. Talk to Josha at Lookout Landing.
  3. Start A Mystery in the Depths and follow it to the same mine.
  4. Use the Steward Construct there to unlock the ability.

Autobuild saves your best Ultrahand builds and can also rebuild missing pieces with Zonaite when you do not have every part on hand.

Master Sword Priority Paths

Spoiler-light: route details below avoid heavy late-story specifics.

Path A: Dragon Tears and Geoglyphs (Fast Non-Glitch)

  1. Go to New Serenne Stable west of Lookout Landing and start Impa's Geoglyphs quest.
  2. Collect all 12 Dragon's Tears from geoglyph locations.
  3. Practical ordering tip: save the final Akkala geoglyph until your stamina requirement is fully met.
  4. After the final tear, use the revealed sword location cue and prepare a flight approach.
  5. Build a reliable flying setup (hoverbike plus fans, steering stick, and optional rockets) or launch from high sky islands.
  6. Find the Light Dragon route, land safely, reach the head, and pull the sword once you have 2 full stamina wheels.

Path B: Deku Tree Route (Alternative, More Combat)

  1. Advance enough main quest progression to open Trail of the Master Sword context.
  2. Reach Korok Forest via the chasm north of Woodland Stable, then take the underground path and Ascend route.
  3. Clear the gloom fight beneath the tree.
  4. Speak to the purified Great Deku Tree to mark the sword location.
  5. Pull the sword when your stamina requirement is complete.
Post-pull note

The Master Sword starts at base power, recharges after use, and gains strong value from fusions and anti-gloom matchups.

Post-Sword Progression

  1. Complete Regional Phenomena (4 regions) in your preferred order; Rito first is a strong early comfort route.
  2. Explore Hyrule Castle for key items and story progression.
  3. Pursue the Fifth Sage line and Spirit Temple progression.
  4. Finish remaining memories if not already completed through tears.
  5. Wrap up Master Sword-related quest threads if you used the Deku path.
  6. Move into final confrontations and endgame preparation.
